Well, as my doctor thought, the baby came early - 2.5 weeks actually on 7/15/11 at 12:25pm. While I started feeling contractions on the 14th about noon and we arrived at the hospital about 9:30pm that night, at the end it only took 8-9 pushes and then she was out! We're all doing well - tired but happy. 

I'll see you at yoga in about 6 weeks!

Sheesh...what a whirlwind! 
At 3:30 in the morning on Jan 10, I woke up after falling asleep on the couch feeling what felt like contractions. I followed the advice of my fantabulous child birth educator to just rest since the contractions were still far apart. Hi Leah!

Just wanted to let you know that I had my baby girl, Evelyn Fern, on January 3. 

I was induced at 41 weeks 2 days which was a really difficult decision for me, but I had a great birth! Luckily my body kicked into gear really fast with cervidil only so I was able to labor drug free. And the nurses at Good Sam were so wonderful and supportive.

I just wanted to let you know I had my baby boy! Liam James Castillo -- 7 pounds and healthy and adorable. 20 hours of labor -- 2.5 hours of HARD pushing. Those squats really paid off. I can finally take a minute to let you know that our baby girl Sara was born on the 16th. She was small (5.8 lb.), as doctors had predicted, but perfectly healthy.

Cian, pronounced Key-in, is an Irish name meaning ancient and enduring. He was born on Wednesday at 11:27 am, weighing 7Ibs 3oz and measuring 22 1/2 inches.
