Sara Pereira ~ Placenta Dehydration

My name is Sara and I am offering what may seem at first a bit of a strange service, however I believe it to be a beautiful and extremely important service to new mothers and babies. I am talking about the dehydration and processing of mother and baby's placenta. This is a custom that goes back thousands of years in certain countries and is only recently starting to catch on here in the West.

As mentioned, the placenta is dehydrated and put into capsules and taken like a vitamin or supplement. It is most important that new mommy takes the placenta capsules the first two weeks after delivery. Placenta is extremely nutrient rich and helps replenish the body, restoring all that was lost during labor and delivery. It is high in vitamins and minerals such as iron, protein and vitamin B6. The act of ingesting placenta capsules helps to combat post-partum depression by restoring lost hormones. Not only does it help a new mother enhance milk production, it also helps to build the baby's immune system. Some capsules can even be saved for when the time comes to wean baby from breast feeding or when it comes time for the first day of school. As well, it can be given to the child if there is ever any bone breaking or trauma of any kind.

I realize this concept may be hard to take in for some, but I believe the times are changing and our minds have expanded greatly, enough to try something new, or in this case something ancient, for the betterment of ourselves and the new life we are bringing into the world. Love and Light,
Sara Pereira
